How do I check in?
Our property manager Edwin Stolk will meet you at the house at a pre agreed time and will show you around. He and his team will have already prepared everything ready for your stay, including house cleaning and linen change. He will be your main point of contact during your stay and will do everything possible to ensure everything runs smoothly for you.

Can I rent just the house or the apartment, or must I take them together?
You can take either or both, depending on availability. The house has 2 double bedrooms and the apartment has 1 double. Both have their own lounge and garden / patio area. They have separate main entrances and the gardens are divided by a locked gate at the back of the house, which can be left open if you wish to take the whole property.

Is the house or apartment available for weekends only, or longer rentals?
Whenever you want either, for however long you wish, depending on availability.

Can we bring pets?
Sorry no we do not allow pets unless they are guide (hearing or sight) dogs.

Can I use the pool if I only rent the apartment?
The pool is in the house garden so the house tenants have private usage - but if the house is not let out, and you are renting the apartment, you are welcome to use the pool and house garden, just ask Edwin our Property Manager for access.

Is there parking?
Yes - there is off road driveway parking for both the house and apartment. There is always space on the very quiet road outside for extra cars if needed.

Do you allow smokers?
We ask you not to smoke whilst in the house or apartment. If you smoke indoors we reserve the right to terminate your stay.

Do you accept children?
Yes, however please bear in mind that as there is a pool, adults are responsible for ensuring the safety of children at all times. There is no charge for children under 2 - parents are advised to bring their own travel cot and bedding for safety reasons. Should you need to hire a cot, we can arrange for one to be delivered to the house - the charge is ZAR 50 per night including bedding, payable upon delivery. Please give us one week's notice where possible to arrange this for you.

What is included in the rental?
Crisp white bed linen & towels, electricity, gardening service, pool cleaning & house cleaning before and after tenants. We provide a weekly linen change and house clean for stays of longer than a week.

Can I have a cleaner more often than once a week?
Yes, please ask us in advance or see Edwin when you are there and he can advise on costs and availability of personnel.

Should I leave a tip for the cleaner when we check out?
If you are happy with standard of cleaning, a tip is always appreciated. We normally leave R50-R100 for stays of a weekend - 2 weeks.

What laundry equipment is available?
For details please see amenities page. There is a local laundry should you wish to send your things out - please ask Edwin for prices.
